1. PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy contains provisions regarding the collection, use, transfer, and storage of information belonging to Users for the purpose of enabling Users to benefit from the services provided on this Website, which is operated by ConnecThrive Information Technologies Education and Consulting Limited Company (“ConnecThrive”). The provisions of this Privacy Policy shall apply regardless of the method or means of access to the Website owned by ConnecThrive (including any digital device and connection method). ConnecThrive may unilaterally amend the provisions of this Privacy Policy at any time by publishing them on the Website. The provisions of the Privacy Policy shall enter into force on the date they are published on the Website. Unless otherwise specified, the terms used in this Privacy Policy shall have the same meaning as those used in the User Agreement on the Website.

2. SCOPE

This Privacy Policy applies only to information you provide to ConnecThrive via the Website. The Website may contain links to other websites, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to any information collected on those websites when you click on such links. ConnecThrive is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, and/or content of such other websites. Therefore, we recommend that you read the privacy policies of the websites you visit.

The terms ‘use’ and ‘processing’ in this policy refer to the use of cookies on a digital device, the subjection of information to statistical or other analysis, and the collection, storage, and any other use or handling of information, but are not limited to these.

3. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

The primary purpose of collecting information is to manage and improve the use of ConnecThrive’s Website, Digital Solutions and/or Services, and to ensure that users can easily navigate the Website.

The types of information collected by ConnecThrive are as follows:

  • Information You Provide to ConnecThrive:

Personal Information: The User may visit the Website without being required to provide their personal data or other information to the Website. However, if the User wishes to be a Service Provider and/or Service Recipient on the Website, to benefit from the Digital Solutions and/or Services offered to Service Providers and/or Service Recipient Users, and/or if it is necessary for the exercise of their legal rights, personal data belonging to the User may be requested. In this context, personal data belonging to the User (collectively, ‘Personal Information’) may be processed through the Website. Information regarding the protection and processing of personal data can be accessed through the KVKK Consent Statement published on the Website.

  • Automatically Collected Information:

When the Website is visited and interacted with, certain information is automatically collected, including the following:

Non-Identifiable Information: Non-identifiable information such as account preferences provided by users as part of managing and personalising their ConnecThrive Service Area/Service Provider Profile is collected (‘Non-Identifiable Information’). Users’ Personal Information may be combined with Non-Identifiable Information; it may be used in conjunction with information collected from ConnecThrive Users to improve the quality of the Website, Digital Solution and/or Services and to provide Users with a better experience. Furthermore, the usage preferences of the Website, Digital Solution and/or Services are analysed. This information may be used without being aggregated for the purpose of improving the user experience and the products/services offered.

Daily Data: When a user with a profile registration and/or without a profile registration (‘User’) visits the Website, the information sent by the visiting User’s browser is automatically recorded on ConnecThrive servers (‘Daily Data’). This Log Data may include information such as the User’s computer’s Internet Protocol (‘IP’) address. Information such as the address visited before accessing the Website, browser type or web page, pages visited on the ConnecThrive Website, information searched for, access times, activity dates, and other statistics are included in the Log Data. This information is used to monitor and analyse the use of the Website, Digital Solution and/or Services and the technical management of the Website, Digital Solution and/or Services, to improve their functionality and user-friendliness, and to better tailor the Website, Digital Solution and/or Services to Users’ needs and expectations. This data is not treated as Personal Information or used in conjunction with other Personal Information; however, it may be collected, analysed, and evaluated for the purposes outlined above in relation to other Non-Identifiable Information.

Cookies: Like many websites, ConnecThrive uses ‘cookies’ to collect information. Cookies are small data files stored on devices via the browser when a website is visited. They are used to remember site preferences, improve the user experience, perform performance analyses, and provide personalised content when necessary. Cookie files enable the storage of various data, such as user session information, interaction times on the page, and content usage trends. Cookies are primarily used for two purposes. Firstly, persistent cookies are used to store login details on the Website to facilitate future logins by users. Secondly, session cookies are used to enable certain functions of the Website, analyse the user experience, and measure the overall usage of the ConnecThrive platform and web traffic. Unlike persistent cookies, session cookies are automatically deleted from the device when the user session ends and the browser is closed. You may choose to block cookies or receive a warning before cookies are sent via your browser settings; however, please note that if cookies are blocked, you may experience restrictions in accessing certain sections or functions of the Website, Digital Solution and/or Services.

Web Beacons: The Website provided by ConnecThrive may use ‘Web Beacons’ (single-pixel images, transparent GIFs, or similar tracking technologies). Web Beacons, working in conjunction with cookies, enable the analysis of Users’ browsing behaviour on the Website, the compilation of usage statistics in aggregate form, and the measurement of the level of interaction with specific content or pages. Web Beacons may also be used to determine whether links or content in sent emails have been viewed by recipients. This information helps ConnecThrive evaluate and improve the effectiveness of its communication processes, informational content, and marketing activities. Data obtained from web beacons is never directly linked to users’ identities; it is processed solely for statistical and analytical purposes.

  • Information Obtained from Third-Party Sources

In order to access ConnecThrive’s services, registration or login may be performed using online accounts provided by Third Party Service Providers (‘TPSPs’) (e.g., Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, or similar platforms). If you register through a Third-Party Account via the Website, personal information permitted to be shared in that account (name, surname, email address, profile picture, contact lists, and other information that may be provided by the platform) may be obtained by ConnecThrive. The type of data accessible may vary depending on the capabilities offered by the relevant Third-Party Account and the privacy settings defined in that account.

Information transmitted through Third-Party Accounts is used to create and verify ConnecThrive accounts and facilitate access to services; it is processed and stored only within the scope permitted. In cases where “friend” lists or contact information are transmitted through Third-Party Accounts, access to and transmission of this data may vary depending on the privacy settings of the individuals concerned; ConnecThrive processes this information only for the purpose of providing technical integration and improving user experience.

Email Communications: The information collected may be used to send notifications regarding account transactions via email, and to inform the user of updates made to the Website, Digital Solution and/or Services (including changes to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy).

Data Analysis and Service Development: Data collected to better understand how websites, digital solutions, and/or services are used can be analyzed. These analyses are conducted to evaluate service performance, improve functionality, enhance user experience, and optimize content and design elements according to user needs.
